Brief

DSP Mutual Fund wanted to reach out to its audience with content that would keep them engaged on digital platforms.

They were looking for a way to educate their audience about mutual funds and investing in a fun and engaging way.

Challenges

  • To create content that would be both informative and entertaining.

  • To create fun content while keeping intact the seriousness of investing

  • To be relevant to the target audience, young adults, who were interested in investing.

Solution

  • We created a comic strip series called "Buckbak" that humorously educated readers about mutual funds and investing.

  • The term 'BuckBak' is a word play on the Hindi word 'Bakbak', which means blabbering, and the word 'buck', a slang for money.

  • The comic strips were short and easy to read, and they featured relatable characters and situations.

  • We also used humor to make the comic strips more engaging.

My role

  • Conceptualization. Scripting. Illustration.

I worked closely with the client to ensure that the comic strips were on-brand and met their objectives.

  • Check out some of the comics here
