Brief
DSP Mutual Fund wanted to reach out to its audience with content that would keep them engaged on digital platforms.
They were looking for a way to educate their audience about mutual funds and investing in a fun and engaging way.
Challenges
To create content that would be both informative and entertaining.
To create fun content while keeping intact the seriousness of investing
To be relevant to the target audience, young adults, who were interested in investing.
Solution
We created a comic strip series called "Buckbak" that humorously educated readers about mutual funds and investing.
The term 'BuckBak' is a word play on the Hindi word 'Bakbak', which means blabbering, and the word 'buck', a slang for money.
The comic strips were short and easy to read, and they featured relatable characters and situations.
We also used humor to make the comic strips more engaging.
My role
Conceptualization. Scripting. Illustration.
I worked closely with the client to ensure that the comic strips were on-brand and met their objectives.
