Brief
Bank of Baroda wanted to create engaging content for their social media followers during the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown.
They wanted to use their brand ambassador, PV Sindhu, to create content that would be both informative and entertaining.
Challenges
The challenge was to create content that would be relevant to the target audience, which was young adults who were interested in badminton and sports in general.
The content also had to be engaging enough to keep people watching during a time when they were spending a lot of time online.
Solution
We created a candid conversation and AMA session on Instagram Live called "Smash it with Sindhu."
The session featured PV Sindhu answering questions from her fans about her life, her career, and her thoughts on the COVID-19 pandemic.
The session was also streamed on Bank of Baroda's YouTube channel.
Results
The session was a success. It was watched by over 100,000 people on Instagram Live and YouTube.
The session also generated a lot of positive feedback from fans and viewers.
In the following year, Bank of Baroda made "Smash it with Sindhu" an annual property.
My role
I was responsible for the creative concept for the session.
I also worked with the production team to ensure that the session was executed smoothly.
