Brief

Bank of Baroda wanted to create engaging content for their social media followers during the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown.

They wanted to use their brand ambassador, PV Sindhu, to create content that would be both informative and entertaining.

Challenges

  • The challenge was to create content that would be relevant to the target audience, which was young adults who were interested in badminton and sports in general.

  • The content also had to be engaging enough to keep people watching during a time when they were spending a lot of time online.

Solution

  • We created a candid conversation and AMA session on Instagram Live called "Smash it with Sindhu."

  • The session featured PV Sindhu answering questions from her fans about her life, her career, and her thoughts on the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • The session was also streamed on Bank of Baroda's YouTube channel.

Results

  • The session was a success. It was watched by over 100,000 people on Instagram Live and YouTube.

  • The session also generated a lot of positive feedback from fans and viewers.

  • In the following year, Bank of Baroda made "Smash it with Sindhu" an annual property.

  • I also worked with the production team to ensure that the session was executed smoothly.
